Here’s What Might Be Leaving Xbox Games Pass In December 2022

So what games might we be parting with from the Xbox Game Pass this December? Microsoft has not yet given word on which games will be leaving in December 2022 but we can make some early predictions based on some of the games that were added at the same time last year to the subscription service.

Many users of Xbox want to get a notice ahead of time of which games will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass subscription package but justifiably Microsoft does provide the notice two weeks ahead and it’s also worth noting that some publishers can secure late deals with the company so that Microsoft can keep their games on under the Game Pass service. These late deals are sometimes secured even after the company has given notice that the games would be taken off the service.

So while we have a list of some of the games on Xbox Game Pass that may be leaving in December 2022, it’s important to know that this is just a prediction and that Microsoft has not confirmed yet which of these games will get a chop off, so the list is likely not 100% accurate. It’s a possibility that some games on the list might go while others might stay on after December and some other titles might also be added before the month’s end.

One of the most common trends (though not the only one) with the Xbox Game Pass is that most games stay for about a full year before they disappear, so to make a head start with this list, we went back to December 2021 to take a look at the titles that were added that time to the Game Pass. Apart from that, some games for December 2020 have also been added to the list of potential games that may be leaving the Xbox Game Pass next month.

Now based on all this information, here is our early prediction on which games might be leaving in December.

As previously said, this list is a prediction of what can happen in December but other game tiles can be added to this list while some games mentioned may not leave the Xbox Game Pass in December, it would be an interesting surprise to see which ones truly make it for a little while. But one thing that we know is that some of the games on our list may likely leave the Xbox Game Pass to come December 2022.

In the meantime, we are keeping an eye out for all the games that are leaving the Xbox Game Pass this month of November following the recent announcement of which first games will leave. Another group of games set to leave will likely do so on November 31, 2022.

Microsoft announced the games leaving the Xbox Game Pass library just a few days ago with some scheduled to exit on the 8th and15th November 2022. Subscribers can save 20% by using their membership discount to keep some favorite games in their library.

The list had these games;

• Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition
• Art of Rally
• Next Space Rebels
• One Step from Eden
• Fae Tactics
• Supraland
• Subnautica

The first list for the games leaving the library did not include Subnautica which was added only later after the first announcement.

While these games are going off, free games appearing on the Game Pass for this month are:

• The Walking Dead: A New Frontier (PC)
• The Walking Dead: Michonne (PC)
• Football Manager 2023 (PC)
• The Legend of Tianding (PC)
• Ghost Song (Cloud, Console, PC)
• Return to Monkey Island (Cloud, Console, PC)
• Pentiment (Cloud, Console, PC)
• Vampire Survivors (Console)
• Gungrave G.O.R.E (Cloud, Console, PC)
• Somerville (Console, PC)
• Warhammer 40,000 Darktide (PC)

These games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass library from November 8 and 10 while some on November 15 and 22. Some other titles though were added on 1st November such as The Walking Dead: a new frontier and Michonne and The Legend of Tianding. All these games will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers until the next month.

Return to Monkey Island one of the games coming on the library is a continuation of a story featured in two games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island: 2 that are legendary to players.

For football fans, Football Manager 2023 is a great replacement for Football Manager 2022 which will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass list on November 8th, 2022.
